Recently compete.com published a traffic report about the site dll-files.com and that brings our attention. After downlaoding and installing DLL-files.com Fixer, we found it is a Potentially Unwanted Program and the author markets it as DLL files fixer. If you use it to clean up Windows registry, your computer will become unstable, even crash. For more information, please see our deep analysis report.
We found that the most common computer users use dll-files fixer for free download and dll-files fixer free license keys to search a solution to fix DLL errors by using the full version of DLL-files.com Fixer.
As the site owner markets it as DLL files fixer, so at first we tested its performance on the DLL errors repair. The Windows system we chose is Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, 32-bit and the DLL file that had the problem is kernel32.dll file.

After that, we run DLL-files.com Fixer, click Install DLL Files tab, type kernel32.dll and click Search DLL-Files.com button to search the kernel32.dll file.
The search results indicate that the Windows system on the computer is Windows XP Service Pack 2, but the system we used to test is Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, 32-bit.

Though the Windows systems are different, in order to see how DLL-files.com Fixer work, we continue to test its performance, even the potential problems would happen after the test.
A download process window will pop up after clicking kernel32.dll, when the download is complete, in order to make it work, we took the following steps to re-register kernel32.dll.
1. Click Start, Run
2. Type cmd, press Enter
3. Type regsvr32 kernel32.dll, press Enter
4. Restart the machine
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) screen pop up during the system startup. The screen indicates that the problem seems to be caused by the kernel32.dll file.

We found that the problem is because the proterties of the kernel32.dll file are different in Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, 32-bit and Windows XP Service Pack 2 after further analysis.

Important Note: As the properties of the kernel32.dll files are different, so you can't use the kernel32.dll files from other Windows systems to fix kernel32.dll errors on your computer.
You can see that the kernel32.dll problems can't be repaired by DLL-files.com Fixer.
To complete the test, we used Windows System Restore feature to restore the mechine to the date before we installed DLL-files.com Fixer.

We clicked LEARN MORE button and a new web page appeared. The content on that page means that the DLL errors can be fixed by cleaning, optimizing and defragmenting Windows registry.
So we clicked Scan Registry tab, and clicked Start Scanning Now button to scan the Windows registry.

The whole registry scan took less than 2 minutes and the scan results showed that there were 780 Windows registry errors on the computer.

A purchase window pops up and asks its users to buy DLL-file.com Fixer to clean registry errors after clicking Fix Errors button. The window mentions that if you don't fix the system errors immediately, your computer will become crashes.

In order to see what DLL-files.com Fixer claims that kernel32.dll errors can be fixed by cleaning, optimizing and defragmenting Windows registry. We paid $29.95 to get the full version and used it to clean the system errors detected. After that, we restarted the machine, and the situation becomed worse.
From those tests, we can make the following conclusions:
Conclusion: Either kernel32.dll problems or other system DLL errors can't be repaired by DLL-files.com Fixer.
